Don’t be fooled by its compact size; the Laney A1 is a powerful acoustic amp that comes bursting at the seams with features. It’s designed to fully equip any player for any acoustic gig or studio situation. Easily connect to the desk, pump out plenty of volume without risk of feedback, and even make the most of built-in FX. This is your new acoustic tone workhorse!
The XLR-DI out allows you to connect your amplifier to a PA system or recording interface, without the need for mic-ing. A ground lift switch allows you to reduce or remove any unwanted hum due to earth loops.
Anti-Feedback control can be engaged and adjusted to eliminate the body resonance feedback often associated with amplified acoustic guitars at high volume levels. To eliminate body resonance feedback, switch the filter in and adjust the anti-feedback control until the body resonation reduces. You should find a “sweet spot on” the control where any feedback present disappears.
The onboard digital effects have been custom designed by Laney. You have a choice of Reverb, Chorus, and Multi FX. Reverb positions have a variety of decay times from Plate through Rooms to Hall. Chorus positions have a various of Lengths/Delays & Multi FX have a different blend of Reverb/Chorus/Delay on each effects option.
For the passionate acoustic player who needs an amp that is versatile, compact and powerful, whilst being sympathetic, detailed and delicate, just like an acoustic guitar. Your Guitar, your amp, your tone. The A1 delivers an amplified acoustic performance to match the tone and dynamics of the top-quality acoustic instruments on the market today.
When you need great tone with flexibility the A1 features two completely identical but independent instrument/mic channels. Allowing you to connect two different instruments if you are jamming, a mic and a guitar if you are performing or perhaps the modern trend of two different inputs for the same instrument, to get the most out of your instrument. The A1 sounds amazing and looks great too.
